What is pole dancing?
It is highly talked about where pole dance actually came from from the very beginning. Was it the club or does pole dance as we see it today originate from other forms of training? One thing is for sure, and as we all agree touchingly, it is a whole world of magic and very addictive, in a good way. ;) Pole dance can be as powerful as it is graceful. You choose which direction you want, we help you along the way.
What is pole dancing good for?
In addition to the fact that it is a great form of exercise where you work with every little muscle in the entire body, you will quickly notice that your focus on how your body looks will be replaced with what your body can handle. We would say that pole dancing changes our mindset to appreciating our body just as it is, which we think is absolutely fantastic! It is simply a form of training where we work both physically and mentally. The joy of training is always the focus of our courses. Come and try out!
Our focus
IVY's focus is pole Dance, which means that dance is a large part of our courses. We not only practice tricks but also dance each class in one way or another to work with lines, expressions, entrances on pole and floor, to create magic! In this way, you not only work up raw strength, but also gain an endurance that will be worth its weight in gold at higher levels.
Something for everyone
Our goal is that there should be something for everyone, therefore we constantly challenge ourselves to come up with new directions and concepts to improve our business. We train both internally and externally to maintain high standards and have an insatiable curiosity and passion for pole dance.
Levels
Intro pole dance
A 4-week course for those who have never practiced pole dancing before. We mix practice with theory so you get the best possible start on your pole journey. This is therefore a perfect chance to try it out before you book an entire course.
Advanced
At this level, you are required to have a lot of strength, flexibility and body control. We continue to work on many tricks from Intermediate but add deadlifts, drops and flips. The dance becomes more advanced and greater endurance is required.
Fundamental
Here we start working on strength and body control, two important components of pole dancing. Among other things, you will learn tricks such as fireman, chopper and various pole positions from the seat, e.g. layback.
Fundamental includes 2 steps.

Advanced
We recommend that you go through all the steps at least 2-3 times.
Intermediate
You have learned the basics of pole dancing and have enough strength and body control to move on. It´s time for slightly more difficult tricks such as butterfly, leg hang, superman and handspring.
Intermediate includes 3 steps.
